here i am sitting in the aceh office looking blankly into the screen of my computer... i am actually quite tired... will be going to medan later this afternoon and back home the next day... then it'll be the weekend... gosh, am i counting the minutes or what?
went to the MSProject training the other day, was held in JWMarriott, KL, and the place is nice... the 1st day, i went to register and then the nice lady told me that they have breakfast at the hall, so i went to get a quick bite, and the waffle counter smelled delicious, so i waited for the chef to prepare waffles... there was a lady in front of me, and another one behind me, i was 2nd in line... so once the waffle is ready, the chef cut it into two and gave the lady in front half, and as she was handing the other half, that woman behind quickly put her plate infront and said "i can handle half" i looked at her with my eyes almost popping out of it's socket, how rude can one get? then she shyly said, oh, you want a whole piece and not half right? and i said, as loudly as i can to make sure everyone else knows what is happening, "i only wanted half, but if you are so hungry and cannot wait, you can have that 1st, i have no issues with that" i was just thinking, is where does she comes from, judging from the clothings, she looks great and don't seem like an idiot... but the fact is, she is one... luckily she was not in the same training as me, she is in some other convention, if she is in the same training as me, i would've mocked here every other chance i have...
went to sjmc to get an ultrasound for my thyroid (however you spelled it), the doctor said it's too big have to be removed, so next week i'll go make appointment to let him cut open my neck... quite nervous about it actually, some people are of no help, they keep telling how major the operation is, how long it'll take to recover, how risky, how this, how that... the thing is, i KNOW the risks, but i need more comforting words la, like don't worry so much, doctors nowadays are very skillful or something like that la... well, the bad news is, the lump could be cancerous, so the doctor have to take it out and then do some tests to see if it is cancerous, i am hoping it's not, but i am still freaking out...
