not getting any younger

sitting here in my room in the sonnet, jamshedpur...

it's getting late, i am getting bored... it's raining outside, i am lazy, the room's cold, a perfect setting, except... i am kinda alone and well, no coffee... come to think of it, i have not had coffee today, that explains my sleepiness...

the meeting in kolkata did not go so well, on thursday it was shouting all the way, i shouted... on friday, i have no more energy to argue and shout, so i sent those guys off early... and went back to the hotel a little earlier... and if you think i get to escape work, think again... went to the hotel and continue working...

woke up at 9 on saturday, went for breaky, and then continue doing some work... it was raining a little, so i stayed in... around 12, the rain stopped, so went out to do some shopping... dunno where to go, so told the driver to take me to salt lake city again... that's the only place i know... so walked around in circles... bought some stuff... not a lot this time... bought a blouse for mom, a bag made from gunny sack for myself... and a pair of shuz... the shuz and bag are cheap... and after that had a scoop of gelato for lunch... called the driver and told him that i wanted to go to a bookstore, was supposed to look for some engineering books, but the driver sent me to this canggih bookstore, unfortunately for me, no engineering books... but the fiction collection is extensive... very very nice... i am not sure about the price, but i think it's cheaper than back home... needless to say, i was trying not to buy anymore books that i won't read, i settled for the stephen king's book... i'll go back and survey the price, if it is cheaper here, i'll get the entire "dark tower" collection... and then read and hide... i am almost sure i'll freak when i read... it'll be scary...

woke up at 4 on sunday morning, to catch the train to jamshedpur... the train ride was normal, except i was sitting next to this guy... and he didn't smell good... anyway, i slept a little, and played a little game... zack... i am so stuck at that point, can't win that battle... it's driving me nutz... reach the hotel, came online to chat, and then ordered lunch... after eating, did some work... and then chat somemore... fell asleep after awhile, and was disturbed twice... once with a call by the reception to tell me that they are returning my passport, another to tell me that my laundry is ready...

woke up, ordered dinner, ate, shower, wanted to chat, most people are already sleeping, it's late... i'm feeling kinda lonely and sad too... it's my birthday today, and i am in a strange land... with no family or friends around... i wish i am home... hmm... i saw a baskin robbins outlet just now, maybe i'll go buy myself some ice cream to celebrate with myself! well, happy birthday silly ol'one!

a good saturday morning

woke up kinda early today, probably because i slept early last nite...

wanted to go for a swim but it started to rain, so me and hubby drove to the club to have breakfast... the place was nice and quite, did i mention it was raining? so the weather was purrfect... we sat there and had our breaky, and the rain was pouring, the wind blowing, but there was no music, so i played some music on the phone, and there, i have a purrfect setting... coffee was served, and we just sat there and relaxed...

after 3 cups of coffee, we went to the reading room, read part of some book, it was quiet and relaxing, and i thought to myself, i could live like that... enjoy early morning coffee, and then some reading... i promise myself, i'll do this more often, i just hope i get this type of weather more often... rain in the morning...

a nice surprise

wat a nice surprise... sometime last week, i got a call from the receptionist saying that there was a delivery for me, and i went "ha? wat is that?" and she just said "u come la, someone sent some nice flowers"... dumbfounded...

anyway, they made a mistake with the date, and the flowers arrived, well, a couple of weeks ahead of my birthday... wat a joke! well, it was a nice one, tho'... a nice sunflower, can brighten my day anytime...

today i was just going through my e-mails, and i stumble across a mail, with a recorded conversation as an attachment... some radio station in hong kong... you know, those programmes where you can call in and talk? well, this girl called and talk about stuff, and the 2 dee jays... they sounded so nice, and one of them, i have no idea who he is, he sounded so nice... i know i would be a fan if i know how to tune into his programme... this girl, wasted her life, and she is still bragging about it, and this guy, got so upset and scolded her, on air! i appreciate his concern, i appreciate the fact that he actually cared enough for a stranger to rebuke her... well, i must try to find out who he is... and his voice... boy, it was mesmerising...

a salted egg yolk

the sun looks like a salted egg yolk every morning... all thanks to the haze... although the sun looks pretty with the haze, but i don't really enjoy it... the environment seemed a little stuffy, and gloomy...

another weekend of nothing special...

woke up at 8 this morning... i have no idea why i woke up so early... came downstairs, played the guitar for awhile... not good at it anymore... went for breakfast, and then off to tesco for marketing... came back, so bored dunno what to do...

came back, don't know how to kill time, so bored so bored... i think i am going nutz... and i missed someone a lot a lot...
