a sunflower garden

as i was leaving from the site to raipur's airport, i passed by a sunflower garden... it was the beautiful, given the fact that i love sunflowers... the flowers were blooming, and it reminded me how wonderful life is...

today i was in church, and i realised how wonderful my life is too... as i was about to give up hope, as i was in the deepest, darkest valley, God reminded me again and again that my life is good, and i can use it for many good stuff, and yet i choose to go the wrong way, i choose to waste my life and i choose to be miserable...

i was determined to save my relationship, but i am shut off. i was determined to do a better job, but instead, i was faced with more and more challenges... i am beaten, drained, and bitter... and for all this, what did i learnt? well, i learnt that life is tough, and we often make wrong decisions, wrong choices but there is one thing that never fail to exists... God...

God, Lord Almighty, look into my heart, take away the pain, take away the bitterness, please help me, i know i cannot help myself, but i know you can and will help me. please help me through this phase of my life, i no longer have the energy to fight and i no longer want to fight. help me. Amen!

new job, new assignment, new location

the indonesian project is no longer my project. at the end of last year, my boss told me that i should be involved in the new upcoming indian project. that i should be relocated to jamshedpur, india... well, i made my 1st visit to jamshedpur last week and i must say that i was a little worried, excited, etc about the visit...

my 1st impression of jamshedpur was ok... small town, less human, less traffic... i guess i am not made for big cities anyway...

aceh again

so here i am sitting in aceh for the 13th time... so fed up with the project here... don't know what to do, everything is a mess, really feel like going home...

i'd rather be home getting quotation from renovators for my new home... but being here all the time, sigh...

this update is going to be short as i have no idea what to blab about... there is absolutely nothing interesting going on over here...

oh, a head hunter called me up the other day, she called my up before several months ago telling me of a job opportunity, but after meeting up with her, i told her that i may not be the person her client is looking for... and i was right... then two weeks ago, she called me again, telling me that her client would like to consider other options because they can't get the right person for the job... and i told her the same thing, i wouldn't be the right candidate, but she pleaded with me and i said ok, i'll keep my options open... and then last week, her client had a tele-interview with me and told me that they will let her know by this week... just this morning, i sent her an email asking her what the status are, and to my disgust, she told me that i am not suitable for the job... now, don't get me wrong, i am not disgusted about not getting the job, i am disgusted about how she handled the case... 1st she called me and eagerly told me that my chances are good, but when her client said no, she didn't even have the simple manners of getting back to me... and she even ended her email saying that she will get in touch with me when there is a job opportunity! and i was thinking, dream on...

see, the whole thing is that she was the one who called me, and then made it seemed as if i was begging her for the job... anyway, if she calls me again telling me there is another job opportunity i will tell her not to waste my time... previously i had a few head hunters who called me too, but when they know that i am not successful, the immediately call and tell me how the situation was, and not just keep quiet... i was wondering, if i never wrote that email to her, would she ever get back to me?

new fuel price

i bet all malaysians are sick of the new price, but there is nothing we can do to change it...

however we do have options to minimise the impact... for example, car pool... but heck, we are all so used to having the "freedom" and car pooling simply means that no more such freedom is available...

we can take the public transport, some say... yeah right! the public transport systems sucks...

read something pretty interesting on the email today, i think i'll paste it here... we malaysians are always asked to count our blessings... we have been using cheap fuel for a long time so it is about time for us to start paying more money to get fuel... literally this is rather logical... but please read the following to see if this is still logical to you...

A fisherman caught a sea bass and cooked it for his son to eat. Before his son could eat the sea bass, the father asked his son to pay up $10. The son thought that the fish was caught abundantly from nature and therefore at little or no cost, asked his father why. The father said “son if I buy that fish in the market, the fish would cost you $15. Therefore, you should be thankful that I’m asking you to pay only $10 because I had subsidised $5 for you!”

everybody is affected by the fuel price hike, i was buying fruits from an old lady by the road yesterday, and when i asked her how much, she said RM1, she usually sells at RM0.90 and she told me that the price of delivery has gone up, therefore she needs to increase the price to keep up...

one thing leads to another... by the fuel price going up, it also means that everything that is related to transportation will go up... food needs to be delievered, so it's definitely going up... toiletries that we use needs to be delivered, so it's going up... what else is not going up? let me see, ah, our salary!!! our salary will remain the same despite the rising costs... so what do we do? nothing, we complain... that's what we do best, that's what i do best... i complain... nuff said... better get back to work, before i loose my salary...

an update, apparently

sudah lama tak update blog yer? jie jie go update your blog...

it's obvious that i left this poor blog unattended for a long long time... sorry peeps...

anyway, here is an update...

current i am sitting in banda aceh again, trying to get the working schedule into place... i lost count how many versions i made, but what the heck, the projects speaks for itself!!!

for the last 5 months, nothing much has happened... i made a trip to india, only to find that malaysia is still the best, for me, at least...

i'm not quite happy with the political events that took place, but hey, i can live with that...

i bought a house, in bandar botanic, now still waiting for the documentations and legal procedures to complete before i can occupy it...

quitted some of my online games to make time for real stuff instead... a good change i believe... but quitting the games also means that i am not spending so much time online anymore, which also explains the lag of blog update... ok, that was a bluff... i was lazy and didn't know what to write about...

bought a new guitar... hope to get back to playing it... hope i have the preseverence... my old guitar is somewhere in my sister's house, my brother-in-law wants to learn, not sure if he got around to it... but who cares, i was too lazy to ask him back for it, so i bought a new one...

well, that's all i guess, let's see when i'll blog again... not too long i hope...
